About Luminoso Photography

Besides being a Johannesburg and Durban wedding photographer, Jay is also a chemical engineering and business school graduate. Trained under the world renowned expertise of wedding photographer and Nikon ambassador Brett Florens, Jay has honed his technical know-how to a fine art and learnt that while science was his initial calling, creating beautiful wedding photography has now become his passion. 

At Luminoso Photography we believe photography is more than just client service, it is about understanding the uniqueness of people and their stories, seeing nuance and opportunity, experiencing moments where you see the world through anothers eyes, it is about gaining trust and forging relationships. Viewing photography through this lens has allowed us to grow and mature both as individuals and as photographers.
